A credit card is a tool. In the right hands it can build a business or position a family for growth. In the wrong hands it can bankrupt a business or ruin a young families ability to cope. The issues that surround credit cards are numerous and some complex, but they can be generally divided into two piles. People get into credit card trouble in many ways but in the end the choice is binary, on or off, yes or no, right or wrong. Especially its ability to finance disaster recovery, be it on a business trip, responding to a family emergency or getting the last two tickets to a great football game. As long as its done within your means and budget, the advantages are almost priceless.
